Job summary

5V Tech seeks Senior/Staff engineers to own perception and localization for humanoid robots. You will architect onboard localization, ego-motion tracking, and state estimation by fusing cameras, IMUs, and encoders into a single trustworthy estimate.

You will also build scalable pipelines for pose tracking data used in AI training, calibrate multi-sensor systems, and develop evaluation frameworks to demonstrate measurable localization improvements before real-world deployment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building localization, SLAM or state estimation that ran on real hardware.

Responsibilities

• Real-time localization and state estimation for a humanoid robot, fusing sensors into a single trusted estimate.
• Pose tracking for AI training data and scalable offline pipelines for large training datasets.
• Multi-sensor calibration including camera-to-IMU intrinsics/extrinsics.
• Develop data-driven evaluation and testing frameworks to quantify localization improvements.
• Write reliable, production-quality software that runs on robots in real-world deployments.
