Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with ~3+ years industry experience or MS/BS with substantial relevant experience.
• Experience in analytical development and characterization of peptides or peptide-based therapeutics.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC method development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, qualify, and troubleshoot analytical methods for peptides, peptide conjugates, intermediates, precursors, and related drug substances.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for HPLC and UPLC, focusing on reversed‑phase methods for purity, identity, and related‑substance analysis.
• Characterize peptide products for purity, identity, degradation products, impurities, stability, and other quality attributes.
• Use LC‑MS/MS, mass spectrometry, and other physicochemical characterization methods.
• Support analytical characterization of peptide synthesis, purification, and conjugation.
• Develop stability‑indicating methods; support forced-degradation and stability studies.
• Interpret analytical data with chemistry, radiochemistry, process development, CMC, and other teams.
• Investigate unexpected results, impurity profiles, method-performance issues, and product-quality questions.
• Author methods, protocols, reports, specifications, and development documentation.
• Support method transfer and oversight of CRO/CDMO partners.
• Contribute to analytical strategies from discovery to GMP readiness.
• Maintain data integrity and lab safety.
