Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is recruiting a Lead Analytical Development Scientist to shape analytical strategies for peptides, bioconjugates and biologics from preclinical through commercialization. You will lead method development, validation and transfer while driving CMC and regulatory readiness.

The role requires hands-on expertise in LC, iCIEF, CE and MS, with a track record across drug substance and drug product development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation, and transfer.
• Experience supporting drug substance and drug product development.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize analytical techniques (e.g., LC, mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis).
• Support formulation and process development.
• Contribute to CMC and regulatory activities.
• Serve as analytical lead on cross-functional teams.
• Manage external testing and collaborations.
• Address complex characterization challenges through innovative approaches.
