Job summary

VRS Recruitment (US) is seeking a Senior Scientist – Peptides & Oligos for a growing pharmaceutical organization. The role focuses on analytical chemistry with strong LC-MS expertise and a GMP-regulated drug development background.

Responsibilities include developing, validating, and transferring LC-MS, HPLC, and GC methods for peptide products, performing tests, and supporting regulatory documentation and SOPs in a collaborative R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS, HPLC, and GC method development and validation.
• Working knowledge of GMP, ICH/FDA validation guidelines, and the drug development process would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for peptide products using LC-MS, HPLC, and GC.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing; investigate analytical issues and prepare technical reports.
• Support quality and CMC activities by authoring SOPs, reviewing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
