Job summary

Princeton University’s Office of Information Technology seeks a Senior Developer/Analyst II to act as a technical expert for the PeopleSoft HCM application. The role analyzes needs, develops customizations, reports, and bolt-ons, and supports testing and deployment throughout the ERP landscape.

The position emphasizes requirements analysis, coding, documentation, and process improvement while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft developer/analyst with programming and business analysis.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Self Service.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture; proficient in PeopleTools and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests and design solutions within the PeopleSoft environment to meet business needs.
• Develop interfaces between new and existing systems, internal and external to Princeton.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders.
• Support operational issues and ensure changes are migrated through standard processes to production.
• Lead research into new technologies to enhance business processes and enable knowledge transfer.
