Job summary

EvenUp is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to partner with VP and C-level executives, translating business strategy into precise talent implications and shaping organizational capabilities for growth.

You will drive complex organizational design, workforce planning, and cross-functional People initiatives in a fast-paced, pre-IPO tech environment while delivering executive coaching and data-driven insights that inform leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience
• 5–7 years operating as a strategic HRBP/People BP
• Direct experience supporting VP and C-level executives in a pre-IPO, high-growth tech environment (Series D+ preferred)
• Strong knowledge of California and federal employment law

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic executive advising translating business strategy into talent implications.
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning aligned to roadmaps and financial cycles.
• Apply systems-level thinking to diagnose root causes and build scalable solutions.
• Coach executives and develop leadership capabilities across the business.
• Develop scalable employee relations frameworks and escalation protocols.
• Translate HR data into executive-ready insights to influence strategy.
• Mentor and raise practice quality across People teams.
