Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to partner with leaders across our global Operations org, shaping people strategy and org design to enable growth and international expansion. You will advise on talent decisions, drive core people processes, and collaborate with COEs to deliver impactful programs.

You will leverage data to address risks, support manager development, and lead change across reorganizations while thriving in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an HR Business Partner.
• 4+ years supporting Operations teams (e.g., customer support, Trust & Risk) in a remote or distributed environment.
• Deep familiarity with the employee lifecycle for hourly CX populations.
• Strong partnership mindset and ability to build trust with leaders, managers, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across the global Operations org to understand priorities and shape people strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on org design and talent decisions.
• Lead or influence core people processes (compensation, performance cycles, talent planning).
• Collaborate with COEs to deliver programs that drive engagement and people outcomes.
• Use data to identify risks and inform decisions, and manage change during reorganizations.
