Job summary

Uplight seeks a Senior People Business Partner to drive strategic people initiatives from our Boulder, CO headquarters with a hybrid work model. You will partner with business leaders to align talent, culture, and operations as we scale.

You will design org structures, lead change initiatives, and use HR metrics to translate findings into practical actions. Collaboration with Talent Acquisition and People Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a People Business Partner in high-growth tech environments.
• Experience advising at all leadership levels in the business.
• Broad foundation across compensation practices, org design, employee relations, and employment laws.
• Pragmatic problem-solving with ability to translate policies into practical business practice.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to navigate sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Drive business outcomes by building tailored people strategies.
• Lead org design and change management to keep teams resilient and aligned.
• Use HR metrics and feedback to identify friction points and deploy solutions.
• Oversee workforce planning, compensation, succession, and performance management.
• Advise on complex employee issues and mitigate risk while protecting culture.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to keep teams aligned.
• Work Hybrid from Boulder, CO HQ, with regular in-office presence 1–2 days per week.
