Job summary

SmartBear is seeking a Senior People Partner to align people strategies with engineering and product leadership in the U.S., while supporting G&A and collaborating with teams across EMEA and APAC. You will coach managers on organizational design, performance, compensation, and employee relations in a fast-moving environment.

You will leverage employee feedback and people data to inform decisions, strengthen regional relationships, and support retention and leadership development.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of HR Business Partner or People Partner experience.
• Experience partnering with R&D orgs, particularly Engineering and Product.
• Strong business acumen; able to connect people priorities to company goals.
• Experience coaching leaders through performance, talent and change.
• Ability to use feedback and data to inform decisions.
• Clear, collaborative communication across geographies and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted People Partner to Engineering and Product teams in the U.S., with support for G&A.
• Coach leaders on organizational design, performance, talent development, compensation, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
• Use feedback and data to identify themes and drive improvements with leaders.
• Partner with People & Culture colleagues to strengthen retention, succession, and development.
• Collaborate with EMEA and APAC teams on global initiatives while balancing local context.
• Build strong relationships across the business and cross-functional teams; report to Sr. Director, People Partner.
