Job summary

Arc Games, Inc. is seeking a Director of HR to lead our People Operations function. This hands-on role partners directly with the CEO to shape how we hire, develop, retain, and support our people as the company grows.

The position is senior management with autonomy, reporting to the CEO, and requires residency in California for a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Sunnyvale. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $170,000 plus equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated HR leadership across full scope (talent, org design, compensation).
• Experience designing and running programs (wellness, succession, performance management).
• Collaborative leadership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full People Operations function, from HR strategy to day-to-day execution.
• Design, launch, and run HR programs with documented success (wellness, succession, performance).
• Partner with CEO and leadership on organizational design and workforce planning.
• Lead compensation and benefits strategy.
• Ensure HR policies comply with multi-jurisdictional requirements as the company grows.
• Build and mentor the People Operations team as headcount expands.
• Champion employee relations, engagement, and retention aligned with Arc Games' culture.
