Xylem seeks a Lead People Partner to oversee staffing, employee relations, training, policy interpretation, benefits and labor relations for the site. This full‑time, on‑site role in Illinois will drive HR programs aligned with business objectives and coordinate with corporate HR to support initiatives.

The role requires managing labor relations, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and development activities, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, preferably HR.
• 7–10 years’ experience developing and executing HR processes.
• 2–4 years direct labor relations experience with administration of Union Labor agreement.
• Experience implementing HR initiatives, affirmative action, policies and procedures.
• Strong collaboration, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong organization and business communications skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Workday knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead labor relations, staffing, employee relations, engagement, retention, performance management, compensation programs.
• Participate in site and corporate HR projects and initiatives.
• Support organizational change initiatives and monitor HR metrics.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employees and managers; address issues.
• Investigate conflicts and Ethics Hotline concerns; consult legal counsel.
• Facilitate performance management and succession planning; onboarding.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit for the facility; assist onboarding.
• Work with site leadership to align with business unit goals.
• Coordinate training on Code of Conduct, anti-harassment, etc.
• Develop process and policy improvements aligned with laws.
