Job summary

Xylem seeks a Lead People Partner to guide staffing, employee relations, and HR strategy for the Morton Grove site. You will drive workforce planning, development, and policy governance while aligning with business goals and union relationships.

The role requires extensive HR leadership experience in industrial settings, strong collaboration skills, and a focus on safety, culture, and performance. On-site employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field.
• 7–10 years' experience in HR processes and initiatives.
• 2–4 years direct experience in labor relations with administration of Union labor agreement.
• Experience implementing HR initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Strong collaboration, consultative, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong organization and business communications skills (oral and written).
• Experience in MS Office; Workday knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing management and recruitment for the site.
• Oversee employee relations and engagement initiatives.
• Manage performance management and development programs.
• Ensure policy interpretation, compliance, and labor relations.
• Coordinate compensation, benefits, and rewards administration.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and site leadership.
• Monitor HR metrics and report findings.
