Job summary

Uber is seeking a senior data analyst in San Francisco, driving People Analytics by translating employee insights into action. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver analytics, survey insights, and people metrics that shape engagement, retention, and organizational health.

Responsibilities include analyzing Uber-wide survey data, building dashboards, and communicating insights to drive action across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field.
• Strong SQL expertise with the ability to independently write complex, efficient queries on large datasets.
• Strong Google Sheets skills.
• 2+ years of experience analyzing data and delivering insights in a business environment.
• Experience using Python, R, Tableau or similar for data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Act as an analytics consultant to the business and translate questions into actionable analyses.
• Deliver timely, high-quality insights that inform engagement, retention, performance, and organizational health.
• Build survey dashboards, reports, and repeatable analyses for self-service and scalability.
• Query, clean, and analyze data from multiple data sources (e.g., HRIS, surveys, behavioral data).
• Translate data into clear narratives and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
