Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to support the People organization, turning complex people data into insights that shape talent strategy. You’ll work across recruiting, workforce planning, experience, and development, delivering scalable analytics and dashboards.

This is a hybrid role based out of Oakland, CA or NYC, NY with a balance of remote and in-person collaboration. You’ll partner with People, Recruiting, Finance, and the broader business to establish metrics, build canonical

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics or BI roles.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling proficiency.
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Sigma or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own core People metrics with clear definitions.
• Build scalable analytical products and self-service dashboards for rapid, consistent insights.
• Translate analyses into clear narratives for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Engineers to improve HRIS and ATS connectors.
• Establish data governance, privacy, and access controls for sensitive data.
• Mentor analysts and promote best practices in analytics.
