Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to provide pricing and design support for PEMB projects, using current pricing and code requirements.

You will collaborate with field sales, estimators and builders, performing complex design work, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring estimates meet high standards.

The role requires ABET engineering degree, FE, and PE, with travel under 2 times per year, and offers a base salary range of $85k to $120k plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE) or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license (PE) required.
• Experience with PEMB design concepts and estimation.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check design work done by Estimators.
• Train and mentor less experienced Sales Engineers and Estimators.
• Provide preliminary design for RBMs (Building Modifications).
• Represent the company as an engineering advisor in sales meetings.
• Travel typically less than 2 times per year.
