Job summary

Dean Steel Buildings, Inc is seeking a professional engineer with PEMB experience to join our manufacturing facility in Fort Myers, Florida. This on-site role focuses on designing metal building systems using MBS software and performing engineering calculations.

Requirements include a BS in Civil or Structural engineering, 5–10 years in metal building systems design, and PE or SE licensure (or reciprocity). Proficiency with MBS and strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural engineering.
• 5–10 years in metal building systems design.
• PE or SE licensure in southeastern US states or reciprocity.
• Proficiency with MBS (Metal Building Software).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and codes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design metal building systems (PEMB) using MBS software.
• Basic CADD knowledge.
• Review others' work for compliance with contract requirements.
• Collaborate with sales personnel and clients to ensure design meets project requirements and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
