Job summary

MLB & Associates is seeking an experienced PEMB estimator skilled in Metal Building Software (MBS) to drive pricing from initial client conversation through contract. You will develop building pricing, review plans, and coordinate with manufacturers to deliver accurate estimates.

You will manage takeoffs, scope reviews, and internal reviews, present proposals to clients, and refine scope and pricing through a structured bid process while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating PEMB projects and pricing using MBS.
• Ability to read architectural and structural plans and specs.
• Strong client-service and sales skills for proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage client intake and understand project requirements.
• Review plans and support design-build pricing.
• Complete takeoffs and scope reviews.
• Develop design and pricing in MBS or coordinate with manufacturers.
• Price ancillary components and accessories.
• Prepare complete estimates in the estimating system.
• Coordinate internal reviews with the Senior Estimator and salesperson.
• Present and sell proposals to clients, communicating value.
• Manage revisions and follow-up on proposals.
• Ensure accurate project handoff after contract execution.
