Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering from ABET‑accredited school.
• Minimum 4 years of PEMB industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer complex PEMB project opportunities using estimating tools and design software.
• Drive value engineering to improve efficiency, constructability, and cost.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers as a technical resource.
• Influence projects early with design requirements, risk, and cost balance.
• Mentor quote engineers and estimators within the department.
• Improve engineering and estimating processes with Supervisors.
• Collaborate across Nucor Buildings Group to strengthen competitiveness.
• Provide technical support to customers and District Sales Managers; travel ~25%.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET Accredited school

Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building industry
