Job summary

Design Systems Builders (DSB) is seeking a PEMB Superintendent to oversee pre-engineered metal building construction, ensuring work aligns with design, budget, and schedule. The role involves coordinating multiple teams and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity on site.

You will supervise up to 50 workers, read drawings, manage subcontractor interfaces, and communicate with stakeholders. This is an onsite, leadership position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Minimum 5 years of PEMB Superintendent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent supervisory skills; can manage up to 50 employees.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must obtain OSHA 30-Hour and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and supervise project activities.
• Coordinate work with various crafts and subcontractors.
• Liaise with estimator, engineer, architect, project manager, and client.
• Resolve construction problems and safety issues as needed.
• Monitor safety compliance and document corrective actions.
• Maintain cost control and understanding of project budget.
• Document employees' hours and report to HR weekly.
• Travel for out-of-town assignments as required.
