Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver PEGA-based solutions for Branch Operations. You will translate complex business needs into workflow-driven enhancements, mentor junior developers, and partner with stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide technology changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge of software development best practices and ITIL/CoE guardrails
Extensive experience with low-code/no-code platforms and traditional development
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical design and review

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into PEGA-based technical solutions
Diagnose and resolve complex production issues via advanced troubleshooting and RCA
Plan, coordinate, and roll out software changes/releases to production with approvals
Collaborate with BACE team to align priorities and delivery timelines
Mentor junior developers and lead project teams through Agile ceremonies
