Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior Software Engineer specializing in PEGA to design, develop, and deliver automation-driven solutions for Branch Operations. You will translate requirements into workflow-driven PEGA enhancements, mentor junior developers, and drive enterprise-wide technology changes across governance and production support.

You will lead complex problem solving, collaborate with ETS partners, and ensure timely delivery through Agile ceremonies and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
Expert know-how of software development best practices and ITIL/COE guardrails.
Extensive experience with PEGA, Maven, Java and low-code/no-code apps.
Proven ability to develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
Experience documenting procedures for production support and maintenance.
Ability to analyze issues and propose effective technical strategies.
Strong communication skills for technical to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into PEGA-based technical solutions.
Troubleshoot complex production issues using root-cause analysis.
Coordinate software changes with project teams and production rollout.
Collaborate with BACE, ETS, and other stakeholders on solutions.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across teams.
Document design and maintain lifecycle artifacts.
Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies and reviews.
Promote transparency and timely updates on progress.
Develop and maintain low-code/no-code enterprise solutions aligning with strategy.
Investigate optimization opportunities for PEGA applications.
