Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior developer to design, develop, and deliver PEGA-based automation for Branch Operations. You will lead technical discovery, mentor junior developers, and guide enterprise-wide technology changes.

Strong background in low-code/no-code solutions and collaboration with governance teams is essential. The role targets optimizing PEGA applications, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth production operations while participating in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Expert knowledge of software development practices per guardrail document or ITIL.
• Extensive experience with application development platforms (Pega, Maven, JAVA).
• Extensive experience in low-code/no-code software applications.
• Extensive experience in developing and testing software.
• Ability to analyze technical issues to recommend, develop and/or implement strategies and achieve objectives.
• Experience communicating complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading projects and teams; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical PEGA solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through advanced troubleshooting.
• Plan, coordinate, and roll out software changes to Production; obtain approvals.
• Collaborate with team members to align priorities and delivery timelines.
• Monitor progress and ensure benefits are achieved for improvements.
• Work with governance and business units to resolve problems.
