Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior technical professional to design, develop, and deliver PEGA-based automation solutions for Branch Operations. You will lead technical discovery, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across ETS partners to implement enterprise-wide technology changes.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating software changes to production, and documenting all phases of the SDLC while aligning with business objectives and governance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Expert knowledge of software development best practices and IT governance.
• Extensive experience with Pega, Maven and Java development.
• Extensive experience with low-code/no-code applications.
• Experience developing and testing software.
• Ability to document procedures and processes for production support.
• Strong communication of complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership in projects and collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into PEGA-based technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Plan, coordinate, and roll out software changes to production with approvals.
• Collaborate daily with BACE and ETS teams to align priorities and delivery.
• Monitor improvements and ensure benefits are realized.
• Promote knowledge sharing and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Design, develop, and maintain low-code/no-code solutions aligned to strategy.
• Create and maintain SDLC documentation and artifacts.
• Lead junior developers and drive project roadmaps.
• Develop solutions with Navy Federal approved development tools.
