Job summary

Peerstar LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Support Supervisor to lead and oversee Certified Peer Specialists delivering recovery-oriented services in home and community settings.

You will supervise weekly meetings, review documentation, ensure adherence to recovery principles, and guide peers toward high-quality care. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, plus CPS supervisory training or willingness to complete within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2–4 years mental health direct care experience.
• Completion of a peer supervisor training curriculum approved by the Department of Public Welfare within 6 months of hire.
• Alternative education routes with 3 years of mental health direct care experience and CPS exposure OR 4 years direct care with training completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision meetings with certified peer specialists.
• Monitor and review peer specialists’ documentation.
• Ensure peer specialists follow the 10 fundamental elements and guiding principles of mental health recovery.
• Monitor service plans to address current needs and ensure quality care.
• Provide feedback, guidance and support to peer specialists.
• Educate peers on identifying and utilizing community resources.
• Run daily reports to monitor service delivery and address gaps.
• Assign specialists to peers based on availability and needs.
• Oversee field supervision for new peer specialists (initial 6 hours).
• Assist with MCO critical incident reports and high-risk reviews.
