Job summary

Peerstar LLC in Pennsylvania seeks a Certified Peer Support Supervisor to oversee and develop certified peer specialists, ensuring quality services in homes and community settings. The role emphasizes supervision, documentation review, and adherence to recovery-oriented practices.

The candidate will supervise, guide, and train peers, coordinate with the Program Manager and Regional Director, and manage service delivery with a focus on recovery and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 2–4 years mental health direct care experience; completion of CPS supervisory training within 6 months
• Associate’s degree in related field; 3 years mental health direct care experience; CPS supervisory training within 6 months
• High school diploma; 4 years mental health direct care experience; CPS supervisory training within 6 months; CPS certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision meetings with certified peer specialists
• Monitor and review peer specialists’ documentation
• Ensure that peer specialists follow the 10 fundamental elements and guiding principles of mental health recovery
• Monitor peer specialist’s interactions and interventions to ensure service plans address current needs
• Provide consistent feedback, guidance and support to peer specialists and assigned peers
• Educate and work with peer specialists on identifying and utilizing appropriate community resources
• Run daily reports to monitor and address service delivery
• Assign peer specialists to peers based on availability and needs
• Schedule and oversee initial 6-hour field supervision for new peer staff
• Oversee/assist in completing MCO critical incident reports when necessary
• Complete high-risk reviews and perform follow-ups
