Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Clinical Social Worker Senior to join a pediatric primary care team, providing psychosocial assessments, brief interventions, and referrals for ages 4-21. The role includes supervision of MSW students and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Interventions include CBT approaches, care coordination, and support across social, environmental, and developmental issues. Prior pediatric clinical experience and licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required (MSW).
• 2–3 years clinical experience in a medical setting for LICSW.
• 3–5 years related experience; strong advocacy and navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families.
• Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition and treatment plans.
• Provides short- and medium-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and youth ages 4-21, parents, and families.
• Provides mandated assessments when abuse is suspected (child, disabled adult, elder) and specialized safety assessment when violence is suspected.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
• May provide clinical supervision based on department need (MSW students and/or social work staff).
