The Clinical Social Worker Senior at Mass General Brigham works in a pediatric primary care clinic to provide psychosocial assessments, short- to medium-term therapy, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Master's Degree in Mental Health & Behavioral Medicine required.
• Clinical experience in a medical setting 2-3 years for LICSW.
• Behavioral medicine/mental health or clinical social work experience 3-5 years for LMHC.

Responsabilités

• Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal and/or environmental issues.
• Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition and treatment plans.
• Provides short- and medium-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and youth ages 4-21, parents, and families.
• Provides mandated assessments when abuse is suspected and specialized safety assessment when violence is suspected.
• Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
• May provide clinical supervision based on department need (MSW students and/or social work staff).
