Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Senior Social Worker to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct behavioral health services within the Children’s integrated pediatric primary care program.

The role supports an embedded team across MGB for Children practices, partnering with pediatric providers to deliver consultation, assessment, triage, crisis planning, and brief interventions for an assigned patient panel.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work required and LICSW license expected
• 3–5 years of clinical social work experience required
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred or required in state

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to interns, social workers, and licensed mental health counselors
• Co-facilitate bi-monthly case sharing group
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop biopsychosocial treatment plans
• Perform mandated assessments when abuse is suspected and safety assessments when violence is suspected
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient needs
• Monitor and document client progress toward treatment goals
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure timely documentation
