Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join a pediatric primary care clinic. You will provide psychosocial assessments, short- to mid-term therapy, and coordinate care for patients aged 4–21 within a multidisciplinary team.

Licenses: LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC; prior pediatric / medical setting experience preferred. Hybrid work location at 165 Cambridge Street with a competitive starting rate and sign-on bonus for non-MGB employees.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Mental Health & Behavioral Medicine required.
• Clinical experience in medical setting 0-1 year required for LCSW; 2-3 years required for LICSW; 3-5 years required and experience with diverse populations; experience negotiating, advocating, and navigating systems for LMHC.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal and/or environmental issues.
• Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition and treatment plans.
• Provides short- and medium-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and youth ages 4-21, parents, and families.
• Provides mandated assessments when abuse is suspected and specialized safety assessment when violence is suspected.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
