Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation is seeking a Clinical Social Worker Senior to join a pediatric primary care clinic. You will provide assessments, brief interventions, and referral to treatment for 4-21 year olds, with supervision of others as needed.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering CBT-based therapies, and collaborating with physicians and community resources to support families and youth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Master's Degree in Mental Health & Behavioral Medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal and/or environmental issues.
• Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition and treatment plans.
• Provides short- and medium- term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and youth ages 4-21, parents, and families.
• Provides mandated assessments when abuse is suspected and specialized safety assessment when violence is suspected.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
• May provide clinical supervision based on department need (MSW students and/or social work staff).
