Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation within Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time clinical social worker to provide psychosocial assessments and evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents and families at the Charlestown Health Center.

Responsibilities include collaboration with pediatric and behavioral health teams, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and participation in education of social work students and hospital committees. Must have MSW and LICSW; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program required; emphasis on children and youth preferred.
• Massachusetts LICSW required or strongly preferred for clinical practice.
• Clinical experience in a medical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough psychosocial assessments and therapy to children, adolescents and families.
• Develop and modify treatment plans; use evidence-based modalities.
• Collaborate with health care teams and discharge planning.
• Offer crisis intervention and case management as needed.
• Participate in supervision and education of students and staff.
