Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Hospital is seeking a Senior Research Nurse to join the NCH-RI Clinical Trials Office. You will lead nursing activities in phase I trials, ensure protocol adherence, and coordinate with PI/sub-investigators and study teams.

You will also develop training materials and support research billing and compliance. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage study logistics and data across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and active Florida RN license (or eNLC) with good standing.
• IATA certification within 3 months of hire date.
• ACLS within 3 months; PALS within 6 months; BLS in good standing.
• 2–4 years of professional research or healthcare experience.
• 1–3 years of Phase 1 clinical research experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team activities to ensure studies run per protocol and SOPs.
• Plan logistics for procedures and assess risks with mitigation steps.
• Prepare and deliver training materials and conduct trainings.
• Maintain staff certification and training currency.
• Provide protocol-specific nursing care to study participants.
• Develop and implement SOPs and guidance documents.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting for studies.
• Recruit patients and ensure regulatory compliance.
