Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Senior Research Nurse to join the NCH-RI team. You will report to the CTO Manager and collaborate with PI teams, sub-investigators, and department staff to ensure compliant conduct of clinical research across protocols.

The role emphasizes training, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and coordination of nursing care for patients in early-phase trials, with a focus on quality and subject protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Nursing and active RN license in Florida.
• IATA certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• 2-4 years of professional research or healthcare experience.
• 1-3 years of Phase 1 clinical research experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team activities to ensure studies run per protocol and SOPs.
• Plan logistics for procedures and manage resource planning.
• Deliver or arrange training materials and staff certifications.
• Support training programs and annual validation of licenses.
• Provide protocol-specific nursing care to study participants.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and QA activities.
