Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Project Manager to lead PD&E studies for FDOT and municipalities in central Florida. You will oversee teams of engineers, planners, and scientists from concept through construction, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Based in Lakeland, Tampa, or Orlando, you’ll manage budgets, schedules, and resources while mentoring staff and supporting business development. A PE license in Florida is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and Florida P.E. license.
• 8+ years managing FDOT PD&E projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of PD&E projects from concept to final plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with marketing, accounting, and clients; mentor staff.
• Serve as SME for transportation design concepts and safety analyses.
• Develop technical documents, cost estimates, and presentations.
