The role emphasizes post-silicon validation, use of high-speed test equipment, and applying AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development and debugging. Strong expertise with PCIe and SoC architectures is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in hardware development, silicon validation, or PCIe subsystem engineering.
• Expertise with PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6, host systems, root complexes, IP bring-up and validation.
• Proficient in Python, TCL, C, or similar scripting/programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCIe bring-up, characterization, debugging, and validation for SSD controller SoCs.
• Develop system-level validation environments and automated test suites for PCIe protocol validation and compliance.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Build, Verification, Firmware, and Product Engineering to drive silicon improvements.
• Analyze failures, perform root-cause investigations, and drive issue resolution.
• Validate PCIe IP within complex system-level use cases for high-performance SSD applications.
