Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer (PCBA) for a Corona, CA electronics manufacturer. Lead development, implementation, and optimization of PCBA and box-build processes to support aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, medical, and lighting programs.

The role drives process improvements, boosts yields, and establishes manufacturing controls while supporting new product introductions in a fast-paced environment. On-site with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

7+ years of EMS, PCBA, or electronics manufacturing experience.
Hands-on experience with SMT processes, AOI, SPI, reflow profiling, and X-ray inspection.
Experience with Flying Probe, ICT, or functional testing.
Experience supporting box-build and subsystem integration.
Knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, and process validation.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead SMT process development including solder paste printing, SPI, AOI, and reflow profiling.
Improve yields and reduce scrap while meeting schedules.
Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, DOE, SPC, and process capability metrics.
Support NPI builds and process validation.
Mentor technicians and operators on manufacturing best practices.
