Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead PCBA design for advanced battery technology within the BMS Hardware & Electrical Systems team. You will manage the full lifecycle from requirements through design release, vendor DFM, bring-up, verification, and sustaining, collaborating with Mechanical, Firmware/Software, Manufacturing, System Engineering, and Test teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in EE, 7+ years experience (or MS with 5+), strong Altium skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in EE or related field with 7+ years experience (or MS with 5+).
• Hands-on PCB design and electrical systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of PCBA design from requirements to sustaining.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance for high-power systems.
• Develop DFMEA/CFMEA, block diagrams, simulations, schematics, layouts, test plans.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical, Firmware/Software, and Test/Verification teams.
• Troubleshoot electrical system and PCBA issues.
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement of PCBA designs.
