Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support, improve, and sustain Class 3 PCBA manufacturing in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment.

The role spans SMT, through-hole, and final inspection, working with Production, Quality, Test, Program Management, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient, compliant production. The engineer will lead continuous improvement, reduce defects, and mentor junior staff while driving containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Experience solving manufacturing issues across assembly lines.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations for Class 3 PCBA assembly, rework, test, coating, and final inspection processes.
• Provide technical guidance to production teams to resolve bottlenecks, yield concerns, and interruptions.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specs, and instructions to ensure manufacturability and readiness.
• Develop and improve processes for SMT, selective solder, hand solder, and mechanical assembly.
