Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to support and improve PCB assembly processes, ensuring high quality and repeatable production. You will work with engineering, production, and quality teams to monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

Candidates may qualify with a technical degree or manufacturing experience; electronics manufacturing background is preferred. Responsibilities include interpreting MPIs/ECOs, setting up SMT and other processes, assisting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related manufacturing experience required.
• Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of manufacturing experience acceptable.
• High school diploma with 5+ years of manufacturing experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Review MPIs, ECOs, deviations, drawings, and specs before production.
• Set up and monitor SMT, through-hole, and related processes to IPC standards.
• Assist with first article verification and new-build validation.
• Troubleshoot solder paste printing, placement, reflow, wave soldering, and related assembly operations.
• Support process development, validation, and NPI activities.
• Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and root causes.
• Ensure ESD/MSD/safety compliance and proper housekeeping.
• Train operators on work instructions and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve yield and throughput.
• Support conformal coating, staking, encapsulation, and underfill processes.
