Job summary

SiTime seeks a hands-on Senior PCB Layout Engineer to own the physical implementation of complex boards used in characterization, validation, ATE, production test, and internal platforms. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of layout experience and a track record of releasing high-quality boards from placement through fabrication and assembly.

Collaborating with hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, you will translate constraints into robust layouts while adhering to IPC standards

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on PCB layout experience for complex, high-density electronic systems.
• Expert-level capability in Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, and related tools.
• Experience with high-density, multi-layer boards and fine-pitch BGAs.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB layout from initial placement and routing through design review and release.
• Translate schematics and constraints into complete board layouts.
• Route dense mixed-signal, high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, clock, and power circuits.
• Create fabrication and assembly deliverables (Gerber/ODB++, drill files, NPIs).
• Perform design-rule checks and release-package reviews.
