Job summary

Powerus is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to lead the physical layout of dense, multi-layer PCBs for defense and commercial programs. You will coordinate with schematic designers and contract manufacturers to meet performance, size, and manufacturability constraints.

You will optimize stackups for impedance, EMC, and yield, route differential pairs, and support thermal management and debug activities. This role requires US residency and involvement with ITAR/EAR controlled data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associates degree in electronics engineering technology, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of PCB layout experience for production boards.
• Proficiency in impedance-controlled routing and stackup constraints.
• Familiarity with IPC-7351/IPC-2221/IPC-A-610 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical layout of complex multi-layer PCBs (mixed-signal, high-speed, power).
• Define and optimize board stackups for impedance control, EMC, and manufacturability.
• Route impedance-controlled traces and high-speed interfaces; manage signal integrity.
