Job summary

Acceler8 Talent in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to own the physical design of high-performance AI accelerator boards. You will manage end-to-end layout from stackup to fabrication release and work with SI/PI, packaging, and hardware teams to ensure reliable electrical performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of PCB layout experience.
• Experience with high-layer-count PCBs and high-speed signaling.
• Strong knowledge of impedance, stackup, return paths, crosstalk.
• Experience with fine-pitch BGA escape routing and via optimization.
• Experience producing fabrication packages (Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581).
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro, Xpedition, or Altium.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PCB layout for AI accelerator systems, including stackup definition, impedance control, component placement, routing, and fabrication release.
• Design and optimize high-current power delivery layouts for accelerator hardware.
• Perform complex BGA escape routing for large, fine-pitch packages.
• Implement high-speed layout constraints, length/ skew matching, return-path management, crosstalk mitigation, and via optimization.
• Collaborate with SI/PI, packaging, and hardware teams to meet electrical performance requirements.
• Drive design for manufacturability and assembly with fabrication partners.
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and layout-related issue resolution.
• Develop and leverage AI-assisted design tools for reviews and checks.
