Figure, an AI robotics company based in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced PCB Layout Designer to shape hardware for a humanoid platform. You will own PCB layout from placement to production, prepare fabrication files, and coordinate DFx with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive PCB layout experience for power converters (10W–1kW).
• Experience with flex, rigid-flex and HDI designs.
• Knowledge of DFx (ICT/FCT, high yield).
• Rule-based design knowledge (creepage/clearance, high-speed rules).
• Experience designing for EMI/EMC.
• Strong EE fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• PCB layout of new and existing designs from placement to production.
• Prepare and release fabrication/assembly files.
• Manage vendor DFx reports.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Thermal engineers.
• Manage external PCB layout contractors.
