Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII), part of Dover Corporation, seeks a senior electronics engineer to test, rework, and debug PCB and system-level designs in a collaborative, multinational setting. You will develop experimental setups for high-speed electromechanical assemblies and contribute to new laser engraving and inkjet printing products.

The role requires extensive hands-on lab work, documentation of test results, and interaction with a cross-functional engineering team.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required; 10+ years of professional experience preferred.
Experience reworking PCBs and soldering to modify components.
Experience with data acquisition systems and lab equipment (oscilloscope, DVM, function generator).
Ability to read electrical schematics and debug under supervision.
Proficiency with Altium designer or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

Debug and design validation of board and system level electronics.
Design validation testing with a major focus on electronics.
Test mechanical, electrical, and optical components and subsystems.
Document experimental conditions and test results clearly.
Build prototypes and test fixtures; liaise with external vendors for complex parts.
Inspect incoming parts and manage lab equipment, including calibration.
