SpaceX in the United States seeks a Sr. Chemical Engineer for Starlink PCBs. You will lead state‑of‑the‑art production processes for PCB fabrication, design and implement environmentally friendly recycling strategies, and become a multi‑disciplinary expert in PCB manufacturing.

Your work will support millions of consumer devices shipped globally from Bastrop to customers worldwide. You will own PCB production processes, from initial machine design to running DOE experiments with a small team,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering design, analysis, and/or system implementation.
• Master's degree in engineering preferred with 5+ years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain PCB manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities improvements.
• Analyze production processes with first principles and physics-based approaches.
• Execute DOE experiments to diagnose manufacturing problems and improve yields.
• Perform defect characterization and root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Lead project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses for new processes or machines.
• Own and test new machinery with a small team of engineers and technicians.
