Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Process Engineer for PCB production, leveraging Starlink/StarMind expertise. You will design and implement advanced manufacturing processes, automate systems, and lead projects from concept to factory ramp, to scale high‑volume PCB production in Bastrop, North America.

You will run DOE studies, optimize mechanical and chemical processes, and collaborate with senior leadership on critical design phases, supporting millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience with fluids, mechanical, electromechanical design, and/or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, technologies, and facilities.
• Lead DOE to establish stable processes and improve yields.
• Own and test machines with a small team of engineers and technicians.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses.
• Solve equipment and process issues affecting quality and reliability.
