Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Chemical Engineer for its Starlink team in Bastrop, Texas. In this role, you will lead advanced production processes for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and develop eco-friendly chemical recycling strategies. You will work towards making our PCB manufacturing facility the largest in North America.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred candidates will have a Master's degree and hands-on experience with PCB manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in chemical engineering design, analysis, or implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with production systems.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Analyze production processes with a physics-based approach.
  • Conduct experiments to improve manufacturing yields.
  • Perform defect analysis to enhance production quality.
