Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing strategies.

The role focuses on developing pricing for multiple business lines, supporting leadership with data-driven recommendations, and improving processes across Caremark and enterprise pricing functions. The candidate will work with Sales, Account Management, and Finance partners to ensure accurate pricing and timely implementation, leveraging strong Excel skills and actuarial

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role.
• Experience with PBM pricing models and pricing deployment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to support leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and maximize client value while retaining margin first in the PBM and second in the Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist Aetna’s Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Finance partners.
