Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing strategies within PBM and enterprise pricing.

You will work on cross-functional teams to retain margins and optimize pricing for multiple lines of business, while advising senior underwriting leadership and supporting Caremark pricing models. This role emphasizes strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate methodologies and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Strong Excel skills with experience in pricing and financial modeling.
• Experience with PBM and Health Plan pricing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while maintaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Prepare and support downstream pricing by providing segment-specific data to leadership.
• Modify FAFs and assist in pricing contracts and terms.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support internal and client requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, and finance partners.
