Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing across the CVS Health Enterprise. You will work on pricing strategies, support leadership with data-driven insights, and advise on Caremark and Aetna pricing initiatives.

The role requires deep PBM underwriting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations while working in a fast-paced, cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to translate data into actionable pricing strategies.
• Understanding of PBM pricing, caremark underwriting models, and EOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Aetna Finance.
